The Office is responsible for overseeing the Division of Academic Affairs, which includes the College of Liberal Arts and Science, the 学校 of Architecture, 教育, Engineering and the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical 教育 as well as many of the offices that support the educational endeavors of the College.  The Office is under the leadership of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & 教务长, Dr. 托尼米. 丽丝.

The Provost upholds the highest academic and intellectual quality through oversight of faculty appointments, the promotion and tenure process, and the development of the College’s various academic programs. Working with the 院长, faculty committees, and senior administrators, the Office of Academic Affairs develops the institution's academic priorities and oversees their implementation, including the academic budgets necessary to achieve those priorities.
